Terms & Conditions
By creating an Inner Balance Health app account, purchasing a membership or class pass, booking a class, attending an appointment, accessing 24/7 Pilates, or using Inner Balance Health facilities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Memberships, Class Passes and Access
1.1 Inner Balance Health offers memberships, class passes, casual passes, drop-in sessions, studio reformer classes, semi-private sessions, 24/7 pilates access, gym access, ice bath and sauna access, and other services from time to time.
1.2 Each membership or pass has its own inclusions, fees, booking limits, expiry dates, benefits, contract period and renewal terms. It is the client’s responsibility to review these before purchasing.
1.3 Memberships are weekly recurring direct debit services, not credit-based systems. Unused membership sessions do not roll over, accrue, transfer, or convert into credits. Memberships cannot be shared, transferred to another account holder, or used by another person.
1.4 Class passes are paid upfront and may include 5, 10 or 20 class packs. Class passes may be transferred to another Pilates member only with at least 24 hours’ written notice and approval from Inner Balance Health.
1.5 Membership benefits, pricing, services, schedules, instructors, operating hours, access hours and policies may change from time to time. Members will be notified where changes significantly affect their membership.
2. Fees, Payments and Failed Direct Debits
2.1 Membership fees are payable weekly in advance by direct debit.
2.2 All fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law or approved by Inner Balance Health.
2.3 Inner Balance Health may update fees, pricing, membership structures and service charges. Members will be notified in advance of significant changes.
2.4 Failed, declined, dishonoured or overdue payments may result in suspension of bookings, membership benefits, studio access, 24/7 access, late fees, administration charges and/or debt recovery action.
2.5 Members remain responsible for all fees owing, regardless of attendance, non-attendance, suspension or failed payments.
2.6 Removing or deleting payment details from a member account does not cancel the membership or stop payment obligations. Members must follow the required cancellation process to cease future payments.
3. Bookings, Cancellations and No-Shows
3.1 Classes are to book through the Inner Balance Health app and are subject to availability. If members need support, they can contact the Inner Balance Health team via phone.
3.2 Inner Balance Health may cancel, reschedule or make changes to classes due to operational impacts, including staff illness, instructor availability, low bookings, facility issues, public holidays, emergency closure, maintenance, or other business requirements. Affected clients will be contacted where reasonably possible and provided alternative class and/or automatically receive a class credit.
3.3 Inner Balance Health will cancel a scheduled class if fewer than three members are booked by 8:30pm the night before. Affected clients will be contacted where reasonably possible provided alternative class and/or automatically receive a class credit.
3.4 Where Inner Balance Health gives more than 48 hours’ notice of a class cancellation or operational change, it is the member’s responsibility to book into an alternative class offered within that same week, where one is available. No automatic credit will be issued where a suitable alternative class is available.
3.5 Member cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class start time.. Cancellations can be made via the Inner Balance Health app, or otherwise made by phone, email, SMS or in-app message. Social media messages are not accepted as cancellation notice.
3.6 Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeit of class. For class pass holders, late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the booked session. For membership holders, the booked session will be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or credited.
3.7 For unlimited memberships only, including Pilates Club unlimited membership, a late cancellation or no-show fee of $10 will apply.
3.8 Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in booking restrictions.
4. Membership Commitment, Cancellation and Exit Policy
4.1 Memberships are subject to a minimum commitment period depending on the membership selected. The applicable commitment period will be outlined in the member’s Membership Agreement at the time of purchase.
4.2 A request to cancel a membership during the minimum commitment period must be submitted with at least 7 days’ written notice, and the member must contact Inner Balance Health by phone to complete the cancellation process.
4.3 Where a membership is cancelled during the minimum commitment period, the member is required to pay an early termination fee equivalent to 30 days of membership fees (four weekly direct debit payments), calculated at the member’s current membership rate and commencing from the next scheduled direct debit date, in addition to any outstanding fees.
4.4 Once the cancellation has been processed, the member’s access to all classes and studio facilities will cease immediately.
4.5 After the minimum commitment period has been completed, members may cancel their membership at any time without an additional cancellation fee, provided all outstanding fees have been paid.
5. Membership Changes
5.1 Requests to upgrade, downgrade, transfer or change membership type must be made in writing or by phone.
5.2 Upgrades will be processed without an administration fee if the member has no outstanding balance.
5.3 Downgrades or transfers to a lower-priced membership incur a $35 administration fee.
5.4 Membership changes may take effect once approved by Inner Balance Health. Changing membership type will alter or reset the applicable contract term.
5.5 Inner Balance Health may approve or decline membership change requests at its discretion. All outstanding fees and contract obligations must be satisfied before any change is approved.

- A 6-month membership includes a maximum freeze allowance of 2 weeks per contract period.
- A 12-month membership includes a maximum freeze allowance of 4 weeks per contract period.
6.2 Once the membership renews into a new contract period, the freeze allowance resets. Freeze requests must be submitted in writing with at least 7 days’ notice.
6.3 Unused freeze periods do not roll over, accumulate or convert into credits. Freezes are not to be used to avoid normal membership obligations.
6.4 Members who are medically unable to attend due to illness, injury, hospitalisation or medical treatment may request one medical freeze per membership contract period.
6.6 A valid medical certificate is required. Requests should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible and, where possible, with at least 7 days’ written notice.
6.7 The maximum medical freeze period is 4 weeks per membership contract period, even if the medical certificate recommends a longer period.
6.8 If a member requires more than 4 weeks away, they may request to use any available standard membership freeze allowance in accordance with the Membership Freeze Policy.
6.9 If the standard membership freeze allowance is not available or is not suitable, the member must contact Inner Balance Health to discuss available options, including cancellation, changing membership type, or moving to a class pass.
6.10 Without valid medical documentation, the standard membership freeze policy applies.
7. Class Pass Expiry and Extensions
