Returns Policy

At Inner Balance Pilates, we want you to love your purchases as much as we do! We take pride in offering quality products for our pilates community. If something isn't quite right, we're happy to help. Please read our returns policy below before making a purchase.

Returns Summary

Returns for change of mind or sizing must be requested within 7 days of receiving your order.
Approved change-of-mind returns will be issued as store credit. Refunds are not provided for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or personal preference.
Items must be unworn, unused, in their original condition, with tags attached and original packaging where applicable.
Items must be clean and free from makeup, fake tan, deodorant marks, perfumes, odours, pet hair, or other signs of use.
Grip socks, caps, gift cards, and clearance items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Return Window

Returns for change of mind must be requested within 7 days of receiving your order.
Eligible returns will be issued as store credit, which can be used towards another purchase from our Inner Balance Pilates merchandise collection.
We do not provide refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or personal preference.
All returns are subject to assessment by our team.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this policy.

Return Requirements

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, items must be:

Unworn and unused
In their original condition
Returned with original tags and packaging, where applicable
Free from stains, makeup, fake tan, deodorant marks, and other cosmetic products
Free from strong odours, pet hair, lint, or signs of wear
Returned within the 7-day return window

Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted for a change-of-mind return.

Trying On Your Items

We understand that sometimes you need to try something on to make sure it's the right fit!
When trying on clothing, including our pilates bodysuits, please take care to avoid contact with makeup, fake tan, deodorant, body lotions, and other cosmetic products.
Items must not show signs of being worn during exercise or extended everyday use.
We recommend checking product descriptions and sizing information carefully before purchasing.

Non-Returnable Items

The following products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges:

Grip socks
Caps
Gift cards
Clearance or final-sale items
Items that have been worn, washed, used, or damaged after purchase

These exclusions do not apply where you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

How to Request a Return

If you'd like to return an eligible item, please contact the Inner Balance Pilates team within 7 days of receiving your order.

When requesting a return, please provide:

Your full name
Order number or proof of purchase
Item you'd like to return
Reason for your return

Our team will review your request and provide instructions on the next steps.

In-Studio Returns

You can arrange to bring your eligible return directly to our studio in Coconut Grove, Darwin.

Postal Returns

If you're unable to return your item in person, please contact our team to arrange a postal return.

We recommend using a tracked postage service.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind returns.

Please do not send items back without contacting our team first.

Exchanges

Need a different size or prefer another item? We're happy to help!

For eligible change-of-mind returns, exchanges are processed through store credit.

Once your return has been approved, you'll receive store credit for the amount paid for the returned item, which can be used towards another purchase.

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Discount Codes & Promotional Purchases

Items purchased using discount codes or promotional offers may still be eligible for change-of-mind returns, provided they meet our return requirements.

Approved returns will be issued as store credit for the actual amount paid after discounts have been applied.

Store credit will not reflect the original retail price of the item.

Discount codes cannot be reissued once used.

Clearance or final-sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

We carefully select our products and want every purchase to arrive in great condition.

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered, please contact our team as soon as possible.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where possible.

If your product fails to meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy depending on the circumstances.

For a major failure, you are generally entitled to choose a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, we may first offer a repair or another appropriate remedy.

Where required by Australian Consumer Law, Inner Balance Pilates will cover reasonable return costs associated with faulty products.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or damage caused by incorrect care are not generally considered manufacturing faults.

Consumer guarantee rights are not limited to the 7-day return window.

Gift Cards

Inner Balance Pilates gift cards are non-refundable for change of mind and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.

Gift cards are subject to their stated terms and conditions, including applicable expiry periods and redemption requirements.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

If Your Return Is Not Accepted

If an item does not meet our change-of-mind return requirements, our team will contact you to explain why.

You may arrange to collect the item from our studio or have it posted back to you at your own expense.

We reserve the right to decline change-of-mind returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

This does not limit any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
